Astronomy NOT Astrology. We are investingating how God placed His plans in the Stars. As Romans 1:20 says: God made the invisible (unseen things) visible from the creation of the world (in creation) so we can understand His power and God head from the created - visible things. We come to this study as believers in Jesus (Yeshua) to see the grace of God.
A lot of my sources says alot of things, I am trying to descern between fact and opinion.
1. In Gen 1:14 it states: And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let there be signs, and for seasons, and for days, and for years;
So could have have placed the constellations in such a place as to reveal His plans for us in the stars?
(Rev 12:1 KJV) And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman [Bethulah / Virgo] clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars [Constellation Ari’el]…
The Stars of Revelation 12:1 occurred on Yom Teruah / Day of Trumpets, Tishri 1, 3998, announcing the birth of the “King.”

This one time event announced the birth of the “King,” the Messiah! This is the “sign in the heavens” mistakenly called the “Star of Bethlehem.”

Michael Rood who propogate this teachings, also says a lot of things, some I struggle to find proof for, I am not saying they are not true - it's just where is the proof.:
- Michael Rood says: that all the old constellations in biblical times (in modern times newer onces where added) - the meaning of them are the same in all languages. So if someone refers to 'Virgo' in English (Virgo = Latin) means Virgin. It might be another word in Chinese but it also means Virgin. This is because God named the stars before the confusion of languages in Babel
This is partially true:
There is a surprising amount of cross-cultural similarity in the
interpretation of the constellations of the zodiac. Orion, for example,
was seen as a hunter or warrior by the Sumerians, Greeks, Hungarians,
and Chinese. However, that interpretation was not universal. The
Scandinavians saw Orion as "Frigg's Distaff," and the Indians saw it as a
deer.
God "determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name"
(Psalm 147:4). However, the Bible never says that God taught humanity
the stars' names or that He put hidden messages in the zodiac.
We know that the Hindu zodiac does correspond with the Hellenistic and Roman one.
Wikipedia says: Knowledge of the Babylonian zodiac is also reflected in the Hebrew Bible. E. W. Bullinger interpreted the creatures appearing in the books of Ezekiel and Revelation as the middle signs of the four quarters of the Zodiac,[14][15] with the Lion as Leo, the Bull is Taurus, the Man representing Aquarius and the Eagle representing Scorpio.[16] Some authors have linked the twelve tribes of Israel with the twelve signs. Martin and others have argued that the arrangement of the tribes around the Tabernacle (reported in the Book of Numbers) corresponded to the order of the Zodiac, with Judah, Reuben, Ephraim, and Dan representing the middle signs of Leo, Aquarius, Taurus, and Scorpio, respectively.[17][18] Such connections were taken up by Thomas Mann, who in his novel Joseph and His Brothers attributes characteristics of a sign of the zodiac to each tribe in his rendition of the Blessing of Jacob.
- That Daniel was made a eunuch. (The only proof I can find is)
(Dan 1:7 KJV) Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.
(Which is a vague reference.. to say the least.)
- Daniel was very wealthy as he served under Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, Darius, and Cyrus: True!
- Given charge over the Chaldeans (Semitic wise men/astronomers) of whom many where Jews (proof???)
- Visited by the Angel of YHWH, Gabriel, and given many revelations concerning future events and of the coming of the Messiah (proof??)
- Daniel had no children and passed on his inheritance to Messiah who was to be born in Bethlehem - when the stars reveales it. (proof??)
- 500 years after Daniel the Magi, see the signs in the stars and bring the gifts to Yeshua, in Nazareth when he was 2 years old.
- Christ in His earthly ministry fullfilled 4 out of the 12 zodiak signs/story, when He returns He will fullfill the rest.

The Lion of the Tribe of Judah aroused for the rending of the Enemy, the old Serpent. the cup of Divine wrath poured out, while birds of prey devour him.
THE LUNAR ZODIAC
The Lunar Zodiac would seem from history to be more ancient than the Solar Zodiac. However, as we shall see, they undoubtedly have a common source. The Lunar Zodiac can be found in India, Arabia and China. Unlike China and Arabia, the Indian astronomy assigned figures to each of the
Mansions of the Moon. The Lunar Zodiac travels around the same ecliptic as the Solar, but is divided into twenty-eight parts. Each of these
Mansions has it's own particular name.
Joseph A. Seiss has written a very complete account of the Zodiacs, including related subjects, like primeval man. I urge you to get this book called, "The Gospel in the Stars." About the history of the Lunar Zodiac Seiss says, "Astronomers agree in regarding this LunarZodiac as containing the most ancient remains of the science of the stars. The Romans, Greeks, and Egyptians knew little or nothing about it, but it is a matter of record in China that it was known and understood in that country as early as the reign of Yao, about twenty-three hundred years before the Christian era, which was before the time of Abraham. In the Chinese astronomy it begins with Virgo, which would seem to indicate that the Chinese table came from the antediluvian times."
If it was meant that the stars should carry a prophetic record of the Gospel, then we would find it also in the arrangement and naming of the Lunar Mansions. And, of course, it is.
For ease of comparison, I'll table the Lunar Mansions as they occur in relation to the Solar Zodiac. And from E. Raymond Capt's excellent introductory study of this subject, I'll quote the summary for each of the four constellations that make up the twelve signs.
VIRGO:
Seed of the Woman, the Desire of nations, Man of double nature in humiliation, exalted Shepherd and Harvester.

Seiss finishes by saying, "The whole series of these names thus runs parallel with the signs of the Solar Zodiac, and ends up precisely in the same way, proving that they are of a piece with it."
A last reminder for those who may have lost track. The Chinese had these Mansions, with their names long before the other cultures of history. This Lunar Zodiac wasn't the product of some group of star gazers corrupting an existing Solar Zodiac.
Amazing, huh? But that's God. Go where you will. Study any Truth. There He is.
