A enormous part of our lifes we live for death. 
Large quatities of our individual and societal energies are spent on it.
Trying to postpone it:
In the form of medicine and treatments.
Trying to indirectly overcome it:
By having families, pasing down our genes, vocational and artistic achievements.
Trying to Ignore it:
By escapist entertainment, drinking, t.v. etc.
Trying to categorise it:
By ‘categorising’ it, we turn it into a activity – like funeral and rememberance services.
But this is what Christ did:
He over came death, totally distroyed it and took the key of hades. He is the LORD of death AND life!
